This is a list of the most frequently asked questions, which may help. If there
is anything that is not clear or you have other questions, please do not hesitate
to contact us.
1. Can I pay by credit card over the phone?
Yes, of course. We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express . We prefer Visa
and Mastercard as the commission is much less.
2. Can you send my order out Cash On Delivery (C.O.D.) ?
Yes. We use the U.S. Postal Service and they charge the postage and C.O.D. charges.
It works well but it is slightly more expensive and a bit slower.
3. What other methods of payment can I use?
You can mail, phone, fax or use the Internet. Phone, fax and the Internet require
credit card or C.O.D. payment. If mailing you can use check, credit card or C.O.D.
We try to be as flexible as possible but please do not send cash.
4. How long does delivery take (in America)?
We use U.S. Postal Service and UPS. They deliver between two to five days to most
major cities. Orders received by 12:00 noon eastern time will be dispatched the
same day (Monday to Friday).
5. How much is the postage?
Postage is $5.00 per order ( in the USA ) regardless of the size of the order. Add
$3.00 for priority mail.
6. How do you send orders overseas?
Most of our customers request Economy Air as it is quicker than Sea and more economical
than full Air Mail. The actual postage on your order will be charged at cost.
7. Do you sell Workshop Manuals?
Yes, authorized reprints of genuine factory manuals and Haynes.
8. Can you get a book for me?
Yes, if it is in print. Depending on availability, orders are placed with publishers
about every two to three weeks. Please ask and we will do our best to help.
9. What happens if my order is wrong?
Orders are doubly checked before they leave, at invoicing and before packing. It
is almost unique for an incorrect order to be dispatched. However, if you receive
a book which is not the one you wanted, contact us right away and we will arrange
an exchange or refund, which ever you wish.
10. Do you stock second hand and out of print books?
Mostly no. We will try to locate out of print titles for customers and we have a
variety of specialists we can contact. At the moment we don't stock second hand
books but if you are trying to save money ask about our HURT BOOKS.
11. Is there a satisfaction guarantee?
In fourteen days simply return for an exchange, or a full and prompt refund of the
book purchase price, not including shipping if you are not satisfied with your order.
