Author Bio: Joseph Potak is a performance consultant, an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)–certified master technician, and an automotive writer and enthusiast. He has worked with General Motors LS-series engines for nearly two decades, building performance-enhanced vehicles, testing engines on dynamometers, and pushing the performance envelope further through research and development. He is well-known for his long tenure at Texas Speed & Performance and as a veteran moderator on the LS1tech.com forums. As a lifelong gearhead, Jefferson Bryant has been working on cars since he was young. As a hands-on tech writer, he has performed many LS-series engine swaps in his own shop. His work has appeared in the top automotive magazines, including Hot Rod, Car Craft, and Rod & Custom.
